Wednesday Link List

Footprints Revisited

Wednesday List Lynx (even though it might look like your neighbor’s tabby on a dark night.)

Welcome to list #310. While some of you were off for a long weekend, we had some great topics going here, and in addition to the link list, I hope you’ll click back to see what gets done the rest of the week here at Thinking Out Loud.

The comic Bizarro had a number of Bible premises last week, but maybe for all the wrong reasons. (The term myth is central.) Nonetheless, this one is my favorite:

Bizarro - Adam and Eve

  1. 1) My Twitter bio describes me as a “coffee enthusiast.” Sounds a lot better than addict.
    2) Adam and Eve were kicked out of Eden and given clothes to wear before having children, but cartoonists aren’t necessarily theologians. Should I give them a bye?

    • Without A&E being naked, some people might not get the context; could just be people in a forest clearing.

      • I hadn’t read your description; not a Christian comic strip so arguing theology is probably a moot point. I didn’t say anything about the horns and pointed tail in the other pic, just took it at face value for the sake of the joke. Very arbitrary on my part.
