C’mon, you know the nursery rhyme: “There was a congregation / that met in a shoe…” Yes it’s a church, opening in Taiwan. Details at NPR.

Jesus and GermsIn case you missed it, we had what I consider our very finest Weekend Link List on Saturday. Be sure to check out some vital news stories and commentaries there, and I’ll try to keep this list here a little shorter.

Remember, there are some excellent links on Saturday’s Weekend Link List.

  1. Just a note, it’s the National Catholic Reporter, not the National Catholic Register. The names are similar but they are two very different publications, and the Reporter is the one that is extremely theologically and socially liberal (and has been asked to take the “Catholic” out of its title a number of times by the local church officials where it is published).

    • I’ve made the correction; just 3 letters difference! I guess I’m more familiar with the Register and the name just flows as I’m typing. Thanks for pointing that out.
