Live Monday: Promote Your Blog

We’re stuck at home for the second Ontario installment of “Family Day.”   Everything in the province is shut down for the day.   Nothing to do.   Nowhere to go.

So from 10 AM to 11 PM (EST) today, I’ll be back and forth between the computer, minus the times we’ll be watching some movies from the $3 bin at Blockbuster.

This is your chance to promote your faith-focused blog or website, or just say hi.   Let us know where in the world you live and what the weather’s doing or what you enjoyed about your church service on Sunday.

Go for it.

  1. Nobody ever wants to be first.

Out of the 600 or so people who drop by daily, I think I have one of the lowest comment-to-reader ratios.

  2. OK I’ll bite.

    Over on my blog
( you’ll find devotionals, interviews with authors, musicians and athletes, ministry links, etc.

The weather here is cold and snowy in Northern BC.

Church was great yesterday! I enjoy the chance to share from the Word what is on my heart. (I’m the Pastor!)

    Thanks Paul!

  3. I’m told my blog’s not really a blog. More of a journal of what happens when a bunch of hobbits head out on an adventure.

We’ve been befriended by the folks at a welfare motel in town and have a potluck Dinner there once a week. And stuff happens.

The weather’s warm enough to go for a walk and cold enough for snow.

    Church… was yesterday.

  4. Hi Paul,
It is 77 today in Lake Forest, California and the Sun is out. I’m spending a day at home for the ‘Presidents Day’ holiday.

Yesterday was a real blessing at church. They played all of my favorite praise songs.

Today I just talked with a close fried, David in Colorado about a new podcasting program on the Bible that we are working on.

So the day has been a real blessing and I have felt wonderfully close to God all morning.

  5. Hi.

This Clark Bunch, author of The Master’s Table

We’ve had more snow in Kentucky than Alaska so far this year. We’ve about done with it. Texas, Arkansas, Florida and Louisiana have all had snow in the past week. Wild.

Don’t worry about the comments Paul. I don’t get as many as I used to, and even WordPress acknowledges that comments are down in general. Facebook and other social networking have attracted the comment-happy, even though the number of blogs and bloggers is still rising.

    • Actually, you guys have all the snow that Vancouver was hoping to have for the Olympics.

I guess the reason you and I don’t get as many comments is because we express the concept perfectly the first time around!!
