We don’t really have a Blog of the Week, but if we did, I would want to send [select one: (a) some link love, (b) a shout out to, (c) virtual props] to Jim Lehmer at the blog, the title of which expresses how we all feel some days: Lord I Believe, Help my Unbelief.

Jim lives in Jefferson City, Missouri, USA and has a number of different blogs and websites for which he must be online all day.   Plus, ya gotta love a blog which includes weekly recipes* and some day, I’m gonna get in my car from east of Toronto, Canada and drive to Missouri just to see what Jim’s got on the stove.

I first discovered Jim’s blog through a link to his Christian Buzzwords Bingo and on Saturday nights, while I’m listening to Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home Companion on National Public Radio, I know that Jim is probably listening, too; in another part of the world.  He also lets me clutter up his blog with comments, including a recent one I ended up retracting fully in a later remark.

Besides, he frequently sends lots of link love and comments in my direction; including an “HT” for the item on the screengrab above.     Merry Christmas, Jim.   Bookmark his blog in your browser and check it out often.

.

*Speaking of culinary creativity:  We ran out of stuffing for the turkey leftovers today, so I invented “stuffing bruschetta.”  The key word here is “invented;” after “vision-casting” the concept, I was online while  Mrs. W. was fixing dinner.   Maybe I’ll blog the recipe someday to give Jim a little competition.
