C28 is a chain of Christian accessory stores with locations in Virginia, Florida and (of course) California. (Picture a Christian bookstore without the books.) The text that follows is from company founder Aurelio F. Barreto III.

This Easter we celebrate the final atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for the remission of our sins. “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed. ” Isaiah 53:5 When we repent of our sins and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we are washed clean and born again. We receive eternal life, access to a Holy God and are filled with the Holy Spirit. It is a gift from God “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no-one can boast. ” Ephesians 2:8-9

If you pray and ask Jesus into your heart, you too can be saved. If you have already prayed to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, cool! “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 God loves you and has great plans for you, when you place your faith in Jesus Christ. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

When you place your trust in God and pray, He will be faithful and answer you. “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8 Begin your walk with the Lord by reading the book of John in the Bible. Ask God to reveal truth and speak to you as you read His inspired word. Seek and attend a good Bible teaching church. Pray earnestly and God will help you.
