Book Shop Talk 5th BirthdayToday is a special day here at the Thinking Out Loud blog network, because our affiliate blog, Christian Book Shop Talk turns five years old!  Some of it deals with industry trade stuff that you might not relate to, but feel free to check it out.

In keeping with the book theme, here’s a list of the Christian books that are currently popular in my part of the world. Some of this conforms to national trends in the U.S. and Canada, while a few of the listings represent local aberrations.

Now you just need a nice comfortable room to stretch out and read all those books.

  1. The list of books impressed me. The top ones show a crying out for genuine faith. The get-rich, get-cured, get-blessed theology cannot satisfy like a spiritual encounter with a Holy God.

I also copied the picture of the wall of books to my picture file. When the kids are grown and I can convert one of the bedrooms to a library….I can dream.

    • Some get-rich, get-cured, get-blessed theology books are always out there, but I’m thankful to be involved with people who are more discerning.
