With all the HTML frustration of yesterday as a backdrop, in the last hour we’ve discovered my wife’s YouTube channel has been zapped out of existence. No idea why. 50 videos at least. Original songs. Trying to file online forms to get some answers is challenging because all her Google-related accounts are all essentially one, and some don’t differentiate between various online platforms.
Today, I think the Amish have the right idea.

That is so difficult. I accidently permanently deleted my Glass House Blog and lost all my on line posts (though I had many printed out hard copy…but it will require retyping). Technology is awesome, until something goes terribly wrong. I hope that you can recover the You Tube content.

As I grow older I am certain the Amish have the correct idea about living. I grew up in the country, my grand parents homesteaded for 10 years in Canada before returning to the U.S. and they had all the draft horse gear and hand tools, even had old surveying equipment. I am now deep into the modern world and I see the writing on the wall as far our future serfdom to the New U.S. dictatorship. Living off the land, growing everything one needs to live and sale the extra to cover the other needs is the best way to go.
