My husband, not yet a believer, often asks me why people who all profess to follow the teachings of the One Christ, have to do so in so many different denominations. Good question.

I hear ya, and him; but I keep thinking that God knew it would be this way. Now I’m trying to understand what His purpose might be in so doing.

I think we will have eternity to talk about such things…but without the rancor that taints our conversations today
