My teen daughter was complaining for the 100th times about the fact she has to go back to her elementary school because mold has taken over her Junior High School. While she was speaking her disappointment ( again!) I looked at that picture. I asked her to look at it too and asked if she still feel mad about her school…The picture moved her. She decided to post it as her Facebook profile pic because she said some of her friends also need to realize that there is worst in the world than a school relocation.

Because I home school my 13 year old twins I used the picture as the start to our bible class this morning. It was vert effective, not just because we were moved by the contrast of hands, but because we are not praying often enough for the continent of Africa.
That photo made me physically ache. At the same time I know it is better if it makes me act.
Since it is the first image of this day for me, I will make it a meditation
Thank You

A very telling picture – one I’ll remember when I THINK I have cause to complain!
